plan for the future

Taylor High School’s 7th Annual Plan for the Future Day is right around the corner! Students in grades 9 and 10, except for Honors 10 English students, will be taking the PreACT. The PreACT will help identify your current academic readiness for college and career using your PreACT score. It will help predict how you will perform on the ACT after an additional year of learning. The preACT will determine skills you can improve based on your performance. It will explore how your career aspirations align with your interests. For more information about the preACT, visit www.act.org/preact. Students in grades 11 and students in Honors English 10, will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT. By taking the PSAT/NMSQT, students can get connected to scholarship programs. Students will practice and get familiar with the format of the SAT. These scores will unlock an even more valuable tool; a 100% free study plan, customized for students through the Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy. The score report will show AP course recommendations for students. For more information about the PSAT/NMSQT, visit www.psat.org.
