Philanthropy Club
Philanthropy Club volunteered at Bake Me Home. Hayden Lang, Maddy Runyon, Kyrah Cox, and Morgan Runyon helped put together jars of ingredients for cookies for the organization. Bake Me Home is a non-profit that Philanthropy Club gave their $1,550 grant to last year and the organization provides those in poverty with bake materials and jars of cookie ingredients and provides cookies to veterans, children in the hospital, and many others. The students learned about the purpose, founding, and direction of the organization and them helped by filling the jars! The jars will be sold to raise money to buy toothpaste, baking supplies or other essentials to those in poverty or the jars and materials will be given directly to those transitioning to more permanent housing.
