Naturalization Ceremony
The Naturalization Ceremony was originally held at Three Rivers Middle School. This was the first place in the country that held this ceremony in some place other than the court house. Since this date in 1986, other schools have started holding ceremonies on campus as well. But, it all started with Three Rivers!
This year, we have citizens coming from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Cuba, Ecuador, Eritrea, France, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Iraq, Jamaica, Kenya, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Venezuela. There will be 73 participants taking the oath during the ceremony. Details from the event will follow. We also have teachers from Winnipeg, Canada on campus as they prepare to host a ceremony on their campus as well.
