Hope Squad at Taylor High School

Posted on: March 12, 2021

Once a year, the Hope Squad dedicates an entire week to spreading hope and love to the students of Taylor High School.

Taylor High School Hope Squad members have been nominated by their classmates and serve as an outreach to any student who may be struggling, feeling isolated, or lonely. During the week of March 1st, members presented self-care and stress management to THS students. Students made posters and used sidewalk chalk to spread positive messages all over the Three Rivers Campus. They wrote letters of gratitude to people in their life and learned about coping skills when things get difficult. High school students celebrated the character traits that represent HOPE: Humility, Optimism, Peace, and Enthusiasm.

Students had the opportunity to nominate classmates and THS staff who represent HOPE. Award recipients received certificates, prizes, and free pizza served by Dr. Ault! Congratulations to all of the THS students for bringing more positivity and hope to the Three Rivers community!
