Celebrating Inclusivity and Joy at the Annual Jacket Games

Jacket Games

The Three Rivers School Community came together to celebrate one of the most heartwarming events of the year—the annual Jacket Games, a special event dedicated to our incredible students with special needs. The afternoon was filled with friendly competition as our athletes gave it their all in bowling, basketball, racing, hurdling, and more.

While the events themselves were exciting, the true highlight of the day was the unwavering support from fellow students and the direct involvement of Taylor High School athletes, who stood side by side with the competitors, cheering them on and celebrating every victory—big and small.

The Jacket Games served as a powerful reminder of what makes our school community special: inclusivity, compassion, and unity. Emotions ran high as parents watched their children shine, and joy radiated from every corner of the gym. Students, staff, and families alike were moved by the determination and happiness of each participant.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Oser and Mr. Rittershausen for organizing such a meaningful event, and to Kiwanis for their generous support. The Jacket Games are more than just a series of events—they're a celebration of ability, heart, and community spirit.
