2026 Jacket Games
There are some events that bring a community together—and then there are events that truly move a community. The recent Three Rivers Jacket Games did exactly that.
Our version of the Special Olympics, the Jacket Games showcased the very best of who we are as a district. From the moment the first event began, it was clear this was about more than competition. It was about courage, joy, connection, and the power of showing up and giving your all. And give their all they did.
Our incredible student-athletes competed with heart, determination, and pride. Every race run, every ball thrown, every basket made was a testament to their effort and spirit. They gave 100% in every moment, reminding all of us what it truly means to persevere and celebrate personal victories.
Equally inspiring were our high school Muscle Mentors. They embodied leadership in its purest form—offering encouragement, showing kindness, and standing side-by-side with our athletes every step of the way. Their support wasn’t just helpful—it was meaningful. It was powerful. And it reflected the very best of Yellowjacket pride.
The energy in the crowd was something you could feel. Parents, staff, and students filled the space with cheers, applause, and unwavering support. It wasn’t just loud—it was joyful. It was united. And at some point during the day, whether it was a triumphant finish, a shared smile, or a quiet moment of encouragement, nearly everyone experienced that unmistakable swell of emotion—the kind that brings tears to your eyes and reminds you just how special this community is.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the Three Rivers Kiwanis for sponsoring this incredible event. Their support helps make moments like these possible, and the impact is lasting.
The Jacket Games continue to be a favorite for so many—and it’s easy to see why. It’s a celebration of ability, a reflection of compassion, and a powerful reminder that when we come together to lift one another up, amazing things happen.
