BOLIVIA UPDATE

Bolivia Day 10
This morning we started out with our usual breakfast of cereal, yogurt, rolls and an assortment of spreads. We split up into groups and went to work on finishing up the painting job and re-varnishing the windows and doors on the children's homes. After a few hours of painting and getting to know our Canadian friends more, we had a lunch of soup, left over tacos, and salad. Our UNESCO group got cleaned up, called a heard of taxis, and headed to downtown Santa Cruz for an afternoon on the plaza. There we shopped and haggled with vendors, ate enormous amounts of ice cream, and explored the city. Later, we all met at Don Pablo's for a celebratory meal in honor of our hosts, Julie and Alex. After an hour or so of grazing on our delicious meal (and regretting eating copious amounts of ice cream not long before) we headed back to Stansberry to end our day by playing volley ball.
