Taylor Middle School Welcomes SAR!
Posted on: December 7, 2021
On December 7th, students in fifth grade at Taylor Middle School had the unique pleasure of welcoming five members of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. The gentlemen explained the organization and its dedication to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and teaching American history to future generations (sar.org).
This tradition at Taylor Middle School allows students to interact with living history interpreters to better understand American history.
After an assembly where the gentlemen explained their role as an interpreter, students then welcomed the Sons of the American Revolution back to the classrooms for a lesson and an opportunity for students to ask questions.
