Dear Three Rivers Local School District Families, For the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years, the federal government has allowed a nationwide waiver for school districts to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students regardless of income status. On June 30, 2022, this waiver expired. At this time, a waiver to extend free meals for all students has not been extended into the 2022-2023 school year and our district as well as others will return to collecting/ processing applications for free and reduced-price meals based on income eligibility guidelines set forth by the USDA.

Families that do not qualify for free/reduced-priced meals will have to pay for school meals in the future. Students that qualify will be able to access meals for free or at discounted rates.
