Three Rivers Student’s Artwork Featured in Global French Competition

Exciting news for Taylor High School! Jahzmen Scott, a talented French 2 student, recently had her artwork selected for an international competition. Her submission was featured in a reveal video for Manie Musicale, a worldwide music competition of sixteen songs in French by artists from all over the French-speaking world modeled after the excitement of March Madness.

This year, Manie Musicale brought together an astounding 864,929 students from 7,068 schools, representing all 50 U.S. states and 35 countries. The competition allows students to engage with French music by submitting performances such as singing, playing instruments, dancing, or creating artwork. These submissions are considered for the reveal videos that announce the winners of each matchup.

Jahzmen’s talent was recognized through her artistic portrayal of Gims, one of the featured artists in the competition. Her drawing was selected to appear in a reveal video, a remarkable achievement given the global scale of Manie Musicale.

We are incredibly proud of Jahzmen for her creativity and dedication. Félicitations, Jahzmen!
