Stock Market Games
Posted on: February 7, 2022
The 6th grade APT (Academic Program for the Talented) and LEAP (Learning Enrichment Activities Program) Math and ELA groups are all working on teams to play the Stock Market Game.
Each team will “invest” $100,000 and create a portfolio of diversified stocks in hopes of gaining profits in a ten-week period. Under the guidance of financial advisors, Matt McManus and Brian Giesting, the students are learning about investment strategies and financial literacy. Both advisors are part of our Three Rivers community and are invaluable resources for our students.
They plan to check in with the team midway through and at the end of the game.
