Elementary and Middle School Combine Efforts in Community Event
Posted on: March 7, 2017
Students from the elementary collected 2,200 canned goods, personal hygiene items, and packaged foods and donated these items to TRAM (Three Rivers Area Ministries). What an unbelievable feat! Representatives were chosen from each homeroom in grades 1-4 to visit the pantry with their donations. After school, the Builders Club (a social service organization at Taylor Middle School), sorted everything for the pantry. A special shout out goes to the Builders Club for sorting the goods and climbing the stairs time after time and to our parents, students, and members of the community for being so generous with their donations. It’s a Great Day to be a Yellow Jacket!
