Character Council to Honor 2025 Heroes of Character
January 8th, 2025 (Cincinnati, OH) - Six students and nineteen adults from the Tri-State area will be honored at the 2025 Heroes of Character “25th Anniversary” Celebration on April 8, 2025 at the Delta Marriott in Sharonville, Ohio. The event is hosted by the Character Council of Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana in collaboration with the Hamilton “City of Character”. Both groups strive to strengthen individuals and enrich the spirit of the community by promoting and encouraging good character.
2025 Adult honorees include Dawn Bailey, Lincoln Heights, OH; Angie Bayer, Cleves, OH; Danielle Cripe, Reading, OH; Katie DelMedico, Hyde Park, OH; Debi Fideli-Robinson, Milford, OH; Karli Harrison, Hamilton, OH; Katy Heller, Cleves, OH; Sam Hickey, Reading, OH; Amanda Johnson, West Harrison, IN; Ken Maddin, Aurora, IN; Ana Martinez, Cincinnati, OH; Dan L. Pillow, Addyston, OH; Pam Stoll, Cleves, OH; Teresa Theetge, Cincinnati, OH; Amanda White, Hamilton, OH.
Michael P. and Pamela Daly, Hamersville, OH will be presented with the prestigious “Pillar of Character” award for their achievements and lifetime of service to the community while Mary Andres Russell, Lawrenceburg, IN and Jill Tomey, Bridgetown OH will be honored with “True North” awards for their decades-long work of promoting character in the region.
Student Heroes include Jennifer Barrera Mendoz, Cincinnati, OH; Caleeah Carter, Cincinnati, OH; Zack Kramer, Hamilton, OH; Anna March, Cleves, OH; Perez Russell, Middletown, OH; and Harper Szary, Hamilton, OH.
“In addition to honoring this year’s inspiring nominees, the Character Council of Cincinnati is celebrating 25 years of promoting good character to the Tri-State area by providing resources and training for schools, businesses and organizations of faith” remarked Mary Andres Russell, Board Chair.
The Celebration will be held from 6-8:30pm and will include a reception, dinner, and program. NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz will deliver the keynote address while the voice of the Hamilton Joes Baseball Club, Tyler Bradshaw, will emcee the Celebration. The event is the Character Council’s major fundraiser for the year and will include a Silent Auction.
