Taylor Student Receives WHCSC Award
On February 9, 2023, Taylor High School Senior, Owen Larkins, was named the Western Hills Community Service Club's Student of the Month. Owen's accomplishments that qualified him for this incredible award included entrepreneurship, GPA, extracurricular activities, and overall character. Owen is a fantastic person who exemplifies the core values of Three Rivers Local School District. To support Owen during his acceptance of the award, he was joined by his parents Vanessa and Aaron Larkins, Superintendent Dr. Mark Ault, Director of Student Services Megan Rivet, Principal Mark Smiley, and Counselors Allison Heisel and Katie Ryan.
The Western Hills Community Service Club is an all-volunteer, non-profit service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop leadership skills, and enjoy new friendships. The WHCSC is dedicated to supporting agencies working for the prevention of child and sexual abuse and to honoring students who exhibit exceptional leadership and scholastic achievement from several local high schools.
