Alumnus Works for Browns
Ryan Lysaght, a 2013 Taylor High School graduate, had an incredible experience during college years at Ohio University that opened up his mind and options to a variety of different career paths and heightened his collegiate experience as his personal dreams were becoming closer to possible.
During the spring semester of his freshmen year at Ohio University, Ryan started his collegiate career working with the football team as their student equipment and player manager. He began working with the offensive linemen and transitioned to working with quarterbacks for two seasons. Ryan traveled to many different locations during the seasons including Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and two bowl games in Alabama (Raycom Media Bowl and Dollar General Bowl). In 2015, he had the opportunity to go to Jacksonville to work the Jaguar's training camp and their preseason. In the same year, Ryan was fortunate enough to have the experience of traveling with the Jaguars to the Met Life Stadium in New York.
These experiences helped to build Ryan's resume and, after he completed college, ultimately led him to an offer from the Browns, where he accepted the Seasonal Equipment Manager position. With Ryan's new job(starting in May), he will be working closely with players and coaches. When talking to Ryan about this opportunity he said, "there is no limit to what the job holds and is the lifestyle I have been attempting to achieve."
Keep a close eye on the games, you just might see a Taylor graduate on the Brown's sideline!
